Parkour.

Parkour is from France, like fromage. But this art is not growing moldy. On the contrary, it moves. Fast. But in case you plan to be chasing cheese in Gloucester anytime soon, you might want to take a lesson from the friendly folks from Texas Parkour.
On an adventurous (rainy) summer day in San Antonio, Texas I captured these images of Jereme Sanders (above) and Matt Willis (below). I previously blogged on Matt as he was on the show Bigshot Live!

Backside Pick

Backside Pick kicks off their Fall tour today. The band will be playing 15 dates in 14 different cities in 8 states. Here's a video of Backside Pick being photographed at the tour's inaugural venue: Hailey's club in Denton, Texas where they're very excited to be playing with Detroit-based NOMO. Celebrating 50 years

My sister Lia and I are cumulatively celebrating 50 years of life today. We're in New York today, but here's a shot from last year when we were only 48. Enjoy!

Japanapop

Japanapop isn't a word you hear every day. I think someone made it up - probably someone in the above photo named Carly Erin (pictured center). I just came back from Japan, and my assumption is that somehow on the day of the shoot, Carly must have had sushi or Takoyaki. Who knows? Either way, it was a fun photoshoot (with an awesome name) and an old series I wanted to share before bringing in a whole bunch new of stuff - Backside Pick, musicians from Sitmom Records, Parkour and other excitement when I head to New York (just 2 more days! hooray :-)

Denton My Love

Being back in Texas is great. The food is mmmmmmm and the music is excellent. I'm doing a number of fashion and music shoots, and right in the middle of all the action so I'm posting a few shots that stood out. Up top is Joel Fountain, the originator of Sitmom Records.
